Firstly, this week began with me qualifying as a pool lifeguard, which was a challenge. I was asked to swim 25 metres, which I had been practicing and could do, but then I had to drag somebody bigger and heavier than me back the other way, which I could not. They took pity on me and gave me somebody lighter, their argument being that the pool is 25 metres long and shallow so I would never realistically be asked to swim with somebody (without touching the bottom for 25 metres). Still, I would love to have been able to do it.
Secondly, I watched and cheered (and videoed) while my darling daughter Clare gave birth to her second son Zade. She was amazing and he is a beautiful little boy. Her partner Byron was with her the whole time and she was in great hands with him.
Thirdly, people have begun writing wonderful reviews about my novel The Dandelion on Amazon.com, Amazon.com.au and Amazon.co.uk! Some of the Amazons cross-reference but others don't.
Here is one for you to read from a woman named Lynn in Canada... I am extra thrilled with this review because it is written by somebody who understands the Abraham-Hicks philosophy and she approved my use of it. Thanks LYNN!
"Here is an absolutely fabulous book by first time Author Terry Guilford....I just could not put it down once I began the journey with BB. Her story is the story of so many of us. What stands this book alone is how the author uses BB's story of desperation to healing by modelling the works of Abraham Hicks so beautifully and effortlessly. Terry's use of the first person makes the reader feel they are climbing the ladder to better feeling thoughts right along with BB. I highly recommend 'The Dandelion' which has the power to guide any of us through dark times to a place of pure Joy. 'The Dandelion' will be a catalyst for many and a wonderfully great read for everyone else. Definitely a keeper. If I had my way EVERYONE would be getting their own personal copy of this great book for Christmas this year!!"
