The second transformation I liked was the one I saw in Moonstruck. Cher plays (wonderfully well I must add) a woman who has given up on happiness, is resigned to middle age and engaged to a man she doesn't particularly care about because she thinks she has no luck. Then along comes Nicholas Cage... She also makes a transformation in her looks and more importantly in her attitude by beginning to believe, as her mother says: "It ain't over till it's over." She begins to believe in the possibility of love and happiness.
As a 62 year old woman, I could be tempted to believe that I just have to hang in there and work until I am old enough to get the pension. Or...I could retrain as a fitness instructor, write a novel, lead seminars, workshops and retreats, inspire other women of all ages that it ain't over till it's over. I am now determined, like wine, to be excellent and in great health, until the very last drop. Best wishes to you all!
